This vibrant and creamy fudge brings the nostalgic flavor of orange creamsicles to life in a smooth, sweet treat that’s perfect for summer gatherings or anytime you want a refreshing dessert.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup heavy cream
  • 7 oz marshmallow cream
  • 11 oz white chocolate chips
  • 3 teaspoons orange extract
  • 10 drops orange food coloring (or more for a deeper color)

Equipment Needed

  • 9 x 13 inch glass baking pan
  • Medium saucepan
  • Mixing bowls
  • Knife or spatula for swirling

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan:
Grease a 9 x 13 inch glass pan thoroughly to prevent the fudge from sticking.
  2. Cook the Fudge Base:
In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, butter, and heavy cream. Place over medium heat.
Stir constantly and bring the mixture to the softball stage (approximately 235°F), being careful not to let it burn.
  3. Add Marshmallow and Chocolate:
Once the mixture reaches the softball stage, remove from heat.
Stir in the marshmallow cream and white chocolate chips. Continue stirring until the mixture is smooth and the chocolate chips are completely melted.
  4. Divide the Mixture:
Reserve about 1 cup of this mixture by transferring it to a separate bowl. Set it aside for later.
  5. Flavor and Color the Fudge:
To the remaining mixture in the saucepan, add the orange extract and food coloring. Mix thoroughly until the color is uniform.
  6. Assemble the Fudge:
Pour the orange-colored fudge into the prepared glass pan, spreading it evenly.
Drizzle or pour the reserved white mixture over the orange layer.
Use a knife or spatula to swirl the white mixture into the orange base, creating a marbled effect.
  7. Chill and Set:
Place the pan in the refrigerator and let the fudge set for about 2 hours, or until firm.
  8. Cut and Serve:
Once set, remove the fudge from the refrigerator and cut it into squares.
Serve chilled for a refreshing treat.

Storage:
Store leftover fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It will keep well for several weeks.

This Orange Creamsicle Fudge is the perfect treat to enjoy the sweet, tangy flavor of orange creamsicles in a fun new way!
